To our friends and close contacts, business friends and persons in general, who might be worried with regard to the severe events in Chile and know about situation of our employees and workers and their families, we can fortunately inform that we have no had personal and also not material problems or damages.  Our shipyard installations and facilities had also no damages.

However our thoughts and feelings are with families and family members of the numerous death people and with the many thousands who lost their houses and personal house possessions in the Regions of Bio Bio (Concepción) and Maule, where the earthquake reached and intensity of 8,5 Richter, as a consequence of this severe earthquake.

We can handle, and must live, with some problems and  limitations we have at present regarding electric energy, water and fuel supplies, being they minor matters compared with the cathastrophic situation people in the destroyed villages and cities of our country must confront.

We want to thank sincerely to all who have been worried about our people, accompanying our country and wishing us the best for the future.
